Services

  • An initial assessment will gauge the strengths of the current program to recognise things already working well to minimise disruption. This can be done using various information-gathering techniques such as personnel surveys or interviews.

Following that, discussions with key stakeholders, reports provided to the client and recommendations from Next Level Sport will serve as the vehicles to commence the change process in the organisation and whether there is an appetite to implement the recommendations which will be generated.

  • Initial discussions will explore why the organisation seeks a new program. In this process, questions will be asked to establish the viability of doing so and whether the necessary resources, will and capability are there to produce a sustainable and successful new program.

This service is of particular interest to newly established education environments keen to either implement a sporting program as an addition to their academic offerings or who need advice on how to maximise their current program which may not be reaching its full potential.

  • This process usually follows the aforementioned process. Once informal discussion occurs to determine the feasibility of a request for a new program, the organisation would formally request the formulation of a strategic/operational plan as a pre-cursor to the implementation of the new program.

  • The organisation may be experiencing challenges with the sport’s peak body or central office and requires advice, intervention or representation to solve the problem. Next Level Sport can provide what is required on these occasions to achieve the desirable outcome.

  • Organisations do not often have the time or resources to conduct important recruitment procedures vital to an organisations operation. Next Level Sport can organise all aspects of such processes and participate in the interview process, selection and appointment if desired.

Personal development for key personnel is another focus area organisations have a strong desire to provide for coaches, support staff, parents, volunteers, supporters and sponsors. Seminar presentations, one-on-one meetings and or mentoring services are available for these situations.

  • This is a specialised service offered to assist aspiring student-athletes, their parents and schools to set a course for being a professional athlete.

It is essential that all three entities work co-operatively and Next Level Sport provides expert understanding and co-ordination in setting up, assisting and following through on what is required. Advice is given on how to approach this goal, the involvement and responsibilities of the sporting organisation concerned and the education implications (both secondary and tertiary) for the student-athlete and their family.

This is a complex and often poorly handled process for young people and parents asked to manage it. Next Level Sport can expertly guide families and their young aspirants through the process to achieve the outcomes required.
